1.5.1

- fix local model loading

Description

Neutone FX is a ground breaking plugin that allows you to load AI models and transform audio with them in realtime. There's lots of models to choose from and install from within the plugin, including models that turn incoming audio into rhythmic instruments, stem separation and even a model that creates ethereal choir sounds out of input audio. Open up the plugin in a compatible host and experiment with the different models available. If you are interested in creating your own model, head to our user guide on GitHub to see how to convert a PyTorch model into a compatible format that you can load locally within the plugin.

says it is incompatible with Audacity & it automatically disabled it so it doesn't cause a crash

1.5.1

Unfortunately my experiences with this plug-in have not been good at all. Selecting a track in Audacity to manipulate and then applying an effect causes Audacity to crash and close down at the first few attempts. Eventually that moved on, to the various effects - choir, violin, organ etc - not being visible at all; just a blank white page where the options should be. On the one occasion it did work, it deleted the audio, leaving a silent, blank track. It's a shame as I was really pinning my hopes on this being workable but alas. No idea what is going on, the PC unit is brand new and more than capable and Audacity is completely up to date. Neutone just doesn't want to play nice.

It is not able to imitate the real instruments very well, but combining it with some of the muse sounds gives an interesting effect. Will use this in the future. P.S. I think there should be a way to easily train your own models.
