Description

Spitfire Harpsichord is presented to you by virtuoso Steven Devine, whose beautiful instrument and fervent passion has been captured in the world famous Hall at AIR Studios by renowned engineer Jake Jackson. As an expert in his field, Steven took us through the technicalities of the instrument and advised us how best to approach its subtle complexities. Spitfire Harpsichord blends perfectly with our Symphonic, Chamber and Percussion libraries, as well as Piano and Harp, having been sampled in the same magnificent space, designed for symphony orchestras. Every note has been recorded using an array of priceless vintage microphones via Neve “Montserrat” pre-amps and a beautifully serviced Studer 2” tape machine, then into digital at 96k via the best Prism AD converters.

It has been months that users ask for the correction of the bug concerning the pitch of the sounds, one octave too low (as thus unusable). Nothing done: a shame. Don't buy this library and use the free Muse Score instead!

It's an octave low compared to the MS Basic version, and the note release sound is quite loud (this element doesn't exist in the MS Basic version) and so distracting that I can't use this, even if though the overall quality is much higher. Can these elements be fixed or at least toggled? Will happily change the review then.

Its a beautiful sound but you have to use one octave higher 8va clefs because it sounds an octave lower. I hope this issue gets fixed.

I find this to be a very good insturment, my only real issue is that it sounds an octive lower then played. This can be solved by transposing the instrument, but this is tedious to do, I hope this issue is addressed.
