I purchased Tina Guo’s Acoustic Cello in Mark of this year. I downloaded it, saw it in my library as download...but when I opened a score and attempted to choose it as my cello option, it was nowhere to bee seen. I tried everything I could think of to no avail. I inquired via the MuseHub site to no avail. I contacted MuseScore on their site and Facebook to no avail. I reached out to anyone in Forums to no avail. No reply at all. Now, I have been enthusiastic of my support of MuseScore. They have, in the past, been very responsive and informative. But something has seemingly happened to their customer service standards, to say nothing about their products. It pains me to have to leave a negative review like this about something that had revolutionized my music. But c’mon, guy. Do better—again

Tina Guo Acoustic Cello Reviews
I bought the Tina Guo Acoustic Cello just to make sure I had the best cello sound and performance. It became obvious I already had the best cello in the Musescore cello. The Tina Guo Cello lacks a continuity in the notes. The Musescore cello smoothly flows from one note to the next and definitely has more emotional expressiveness. The Tina Guo Cello sounds like different cello players took turns playing each note in their own style. The audio demos on the Cine Sample website sounded fantastic, but that quality of sound was not on the Muse Hub purchased Tina Guo Cello.
Overall quite good, but Musescore default soloist is still a stronger and more expressive option
Seriously, I'm not sure if there currently exists any better virtual solo instrument that's properly integrated into Notation Software. So expressive, rhythmically precise, great Recordings. Whatever you did with this, please try to emulate it with other solo Instruments, or even sections. Thanks!
Lovely cello instrument. Sounds ultra realistic and with a deep resonant bass sound. One thing I prefer about the free muse solo cello is it automatically plays nice portamento slides between bigger interval leaps unlike Tina Guo Acoustic Cello unless there may be a way I need to learn about.
Very lyrical, great articulation, and great clarity.
just own this superbly recorded violin, i just Wonder why so few articulations ?Harmonics or at least tremolos should have been included...may be on a next update ?
We can only hope for more solo strings of the same quality. This is pretty much perfect.
This is so beautiful and expressive. If you love solo cello, you will love this. A must buy in my feeling. If only there were more instruments with this sort of quality and expressivness.
Very happy with this buy. I did a comparison between the free MS Solo Cello and the Tina Guo, and I think the Guo had a richer sound, was more consistent with changing dynamics, handled accents nicely, and managed fast runs MUCH more accurately than the MS Solo Cello. It'll absolutely be my 'go to' for any solo cello work, (or even blended in with the cello section if more definition is required). Good stuff...
Great sound font, it is very expressive with a warm sound that far surpases the MuseSound’s solo cello except 1 area: trills. The sound is INCREDIBLE but the trills could be far better. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
