I was just able to use Muse Sounds one version before by manually copying Muse MuseSamplerCoreLib.dll to system32 (which is ridiculous), but this update broke everything again, now even this hotfix doesn't work. The logs say it could not init the sampler from the AppData location. Please do not release untested software.

Since update, it doesnt let me open palletes, it crashes when doing so. I have tried everything, reverted to Factory settings but still no luck, it litterally makes no sense

Despite owning Finale 27.4, Dorico Pro, MuseScore 4.6.4 remains my preferred notation software. As I become more proficient with it, its capabilities continue to improve. Notably, the Spitfire plug-ins (Instruments) enhances its functionality, enabling seamless export to MP3 format. Currently, I utilize a MacBook Pro equipped with 16 gigabytes of RAM and a Mac Mini with the same RAM capacity. Both devices operate flawlessly without any encountered issues. I commend the MuseScore team for their exceptional work.

Not sure when everything went wrong, but my old Muse Guitars pack that I used in every score is now gone + trying to input notes for percussion is hell + I overall hate everything. Stick to older versions

I'm trying desperately to download Musescore 4.6.1. That worked really well. But there are so many bugs in 4.6.3. - it crashes all the time; repeat Voltas have to be removed to insert dashes in lyrics; pages move all over the place when inserting lyrics, page 2 and subsequent pages are incomprehensibly spaced...etc etc...avoid at the moment until these bugs are resolved

It worked for the first four minutes and then the audio crashed or something, because now when I hit play, the line just stands still and no audio comes out. I barely have one gigabyte left, and idk what to do. But other than that, I think its pretty nice. I've wanted this for years, but now, I'm not that sure that it was really worth the wait. It's kind of a disappointment by now. D:)

Clearly the best notation and music app and for free! Easy to handle and work with! It has a variety of choices for everything!

it is easy to use but why cant you change time signatures in the middle of the score like the way in the new score wizard where the max is 99/63 but in mid score is 12/8 pls let us do this

For free software this is great. But every update comes with some decent features, and seems to take away key ones that can render your entire composition useless. The amount of times I’ve had to start a new composition from scratch after an update is worth probably a week of work. If the app is working for you do NOT update. EVER.

it is blocking my whole computer and breaking my apps, nothing works anymore.

It's still crashing immediately upon opening in 4.6.3. 4.6.1 did not have this problem, but other than that, I really have no clue. Great product when it works though!

I cannot use the application for more than 1 minute after the 4.6.2 update, I need to write parts asap and this is not an issue that can be easily fixed on my end. FIX PLEASE!!!!

the new version 4.6.2 keeps shutting down after a few minutes of opening program. Have not been able to keep it open, even after downloading update.

After I downloaded the new update, the soundfonts for the regular orchestral instruments disappeared. Idk if it's an issue on my end or musescore's?

Everything is great except for the fact that accents do not work when put on a note.

I found out that MuseScore Studio 4.4 and 4.6 were installed separately, for some reason. I uninstalled both, then reinstalled the most recent version of MS4 and it stopped crashing :D

With voice-dependent dynamics added in 4.4, l.v. ties and advanced system markings control in 4.5, MuseScore was getting very close to a complete solution for engraving professional looking condensed orchestral scores without needing any tricky workarounds (like a tie to an invisible note to look like an l.v. tie). Now in 4.6, the ability to insert bar numbers below the system or as system markings has eliminated another nasty workaround that was necessary up till now (bar numbers below ALL staves, with all but the last being invisible, and then making them invisible again every time a staff stops being hidden). SMuFL support is another very welcome recent change, and sure, we had some hiccups, as can be expected with a major update, but the glitches were quickly patched, and 4.6.2 is amazing!

Upon downloading the update and trying to install, I get a message saying it cannot be opened because there is on access to Applications. I have yet to use the new MuseStudio version after having used Muse Score 3 for a long time. I do not appreciate the interruption to a formerly good workflow.
