I have a few problems -The instruments are not in alphabetical order anymore, especially the newer percussion. They're at the bottom of the selection for some reason now and it's very inconvenient -The toms accents are ridiculously loud now. It's good for big impact moments but when you need a slightly louder hit, it's very annoying. Also the general dynamics are terrible now. Non-accented notes are very quiet. They sound a dynamic or two quieter - Snare drum is horrible. Doesn't sound like a concert snare, more like a field drum but worse. I end up using the MS Basic snare all the time -Using the soft mallets sound flag on the vibraphone at forte is unusable. It sounds like it was sampled with the player slamming the keys just to be loud enough which makes sense for softer mallets but you can hear the keys rattling which makes it stand out like a sore thumb -Would be nice to add rim clicks to the snare and toms on the drumsets

the kit is very out of sync, especially when you start getting louder in dynamics. also, all of the individual drums are different dynamics from eachother. like why am i trying so hard to hear the snare and all i can hear is bass and high hat?

Just installed the new update and for whatever reason the drum kit no longer plays in sync with everything else. And ya wanna know the worst part about it? The description for the update says "Improved GM Drum Kit timing"

Unfortunately this new update has rendered the drum kit unusable. Following this most recent update the kick on the drum kit is all kinds of messed up. It plays completely out of sync with the rest of the kit. A lot of what i write involves a drum kit and a kick drum so i would love to see this fixed sometime soon.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BRING BACK THE OLD BASS DRUM SO THAT I WILL SIT AND NOD AT MY COMPOSITION'S SUM THE NEW BASS DRUM SOUNDS SO DUMB LIKE A TOAD BEING THROWN WITH STRENGH AND BRAWN INTO A CHEAP SNARE THAT HAS NO FLAIR PLAYING A FAST TREMOLO IS A METHOD OF TORTURE MAKES ME WANT TO GO AND BREAK MY FURNITURE A PROPER DRUM SHOULD SOUND AS FRIGHTENING THUNDER AND A GOOD TREMOLO FILLS YOU WITH DANGER

I love this, but it's really lacking in one way. WE NEED BOWED VIBES!!!! omigosh they're soo pretty and we would love to have a bowed vibraphone sound pls and thx :3

I love this! it is very good, but it is missing some instruments, like wind machine, thundersheet, hammer, and other uncommon instruments that could still be used in musescore. Besides that! it is VERY good!

Very nice samples of many percussions FOR FREE. I wanted to ask for every cymbal-related instrument (especially the Suspended Cymbal) if you could add Something to really cut the sound at the end of the note. When you use a tremolo of suspended cymbal, it stays resonating. And if you use the "damp on release" or the "secco", it doesn't play crescendos, but it doesn't have resonance. So I'm asking for a feature to totally stop the sound of every instrument from the cymbal family at a specific moment in the score. (Sorry if I missed an actual way to do it) Thank you for always adding new quality instruments sounds !

I love that MuseGroup updates all the libraries on the regular. Every other company just does 1 or 2 patches then calls it quits. Great tool to make use of!

Obviously this is from when I had them, but they sound great! all I could ask for, though, is that there should be bowed vibraphone sounds. I don't have them anymore since they just won't download at all.

It really rocks, let's add Handbells next

there is a bass drum and gong ideat where you have to were we can have whale noises comig from the drum themselfs and itll be an fantasic thing to have but over all this the best percussion imput

The sound is good, but no matter what I do, the volume won’t get louder. I had the volume all the way up for the bass drum in the mixer, and the dynamics were fff. Didn’t make it any louder. All the instruments are stupidly quiet.

It works well however I can't seem to find the sound for wind chimes.

The sounds are good but you need to be a master level hacker to figure out how to enable this, please make it intuitive

You'd think that, percussion being more noise than music, a machine like a computer would handle them well… But no. You'll need to constantly adjust volume in the mixer and use FXs to get close to the sound of an orchestra. That said, I'm not gonna sack something that is free...

This product is good. The only issue I can find is the fact that the timpani in MS Basic is much louder, and a similar amplitude would be nice here (I can't even hear in mf, only f or ff works).

The quality of support is negligible. There are a lot of bugs in this sound library. Accents are not played with low dynamics, drums and timpani sound too loud with FF dynamics, and with P dynamic they are almost not heard (which can be said about almost all percussion). The Big Kit and GM Drum Kit are lagging behind the metronome click and there are many more other issues. The support team is not responding to my bug reports, even though these bugs have been going on for over two years!!
