Description

Muse Sounds proudly presents Muse Guitars Vol. 2, a collection of 7 large and small-bodied guitars each with stunning detail worthy of their own individual library release! Muse Guitars Vol. 2 delves into the world of small-bodied guitars, bringing you the vibrant sounds of a mandolin, a concert-sized ukulele, and a banjo. These instruments add a unique texture and depth to your compositions, providing an authentic representation of their distinctive tones. Our collection also includes an array of full-bodied guitars including a beautifully sampled hummingbird 12-string guitar, renowned for its lush, resonant sound. Additionally, we present an Electric TC, a single-coil, electric guitar that delivers the classic tone and versatility you expect for country or rock with such famous players as Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Andy Summers and so many more. Complementing these, we have included a fretless resonator guitar, perfect for adding that characteristic slide metallic timbre to your music. One of the crowning achievements of this library is the inclusion of the pedal steel guitar. Sampling this instrument was a challenging endeavour, but our team succeeded in capturing its intricate nuances. With all the intonation subtleties of a fretless instrument and the unique quirks of its pedal mechanics, the pedal steel guitar adds an unmatched level of expressiveness to your compositions. With over 180 hours of dedicated sampling time, this collection is a testament to the skill and dedication of our seasoned session musicians and expert sound designers. Each note was carefully recorded to bring the true character of these instruments to life, ensuring that every performance is as authentic and expressive as possible. This labor of love was inspired by the millions of users who rely on our software for their professional and creative endeavors, all supported by Muse Group, the parent company of Ultimate Guitar, a name synonymous with guitar excellence. In Muse Guitars Vol. 2, we have expanded the number of dynamic layers and added additional articulations such as hammer-ons and pull-offs. These enhancements provide you with greater control and realism, allowing your scores to sound more dynamic and lifelike. Best of all, the library is made specifically for MuseScore Studio, ensuring tight integration and easy access to features. The Muse Guitars Vol 2 library is crafted exclusively for the Muse Sounds engine by the Muse Sounds team and carefully optimised for playback from notation. Made with ❤️ by Muse.

The sound quality, like Muse Guitars Vol. 1, is very good. However, the Ukulele sounds very quiet and the recording isn't the best. It's fairly priced for what you get and if you write country this is a decent library for you.

First time buying a product. its not that bad . The only thing l'd like is to have the sub member of some of these instrument like an Irish tenor banjo or tenor ukulele

While all instruments of this package sound great, ukulele (in constrast to mandoline or banjo) does not play the bass notes needed for low-g instruments ... 😭

Great pack of guitars. They all have a nice variety of sounds and the inclusion of articulation (let ring, slide, vibrato, scoops) is very nice, and this pack compliments volume 1 very well is works good on its own. I don't personally write counrty music (what this pack was designed for) but nevertheless it is very good. 9/10 B on staff for the Electric Telecaster doesn't sustain, but otherwise, nice.

...despite the price tag and some playback Issues that I hope are fixed with future updates

Cartoon Low

Not only are the additional sounds better but they have many of the missing articulations in Vol. 1. Hopefully they will get added to them as well. I think there was a small problem with the original offering causing to to occasionally disappear from the menu but it has now been updated and hopefully fixed. Highly reccomended addition.
