The woodwind si completely unbalanced - Bassoon does not have any volume at all even at top of the mixer and flute overpowers everything. The strings are ok but the woodwind is very poor. Not suitable for the price

The sound is unbalanced, as it's generally very low in intensity, but that's the least of it. The quality is poor. The Musescore sound far surpasses this sound bank. I haven't found any instrument I like more than the free Musescore ones, and I've waited several weeks to provide feedback. The sound also lacks phrasing or direction, has questionable nuances, and nonexistent effect colors. I hope they fix this because the cost is high for the quality, and the Nucleus brand should be up to par. I'm sorry for the rating, but I was totally disappointed.

I am requesting a refund because of the deceiving quality of the sound library, it does not sound as promised in the walkthrough and demos. The strings need a lot of work, honestly. Very quiet violas, robotic and randomly accentuated tremolo (sounds like a looped SF2 file), the legati don't sound correctly, but with a little separation between notes. The solo violin is disastrous, robotic in every aspect, meanwhile the solo cello sounds very realistic (congrats for that). Also, the stacatti on crotchets sound weak, even if I add accents. Regarding brasses, the French horns are made pretty well. But the solo trumpet is too low and it faces the same problems the strings when it comes to articulations. The case of the solo French horn is similar. The percussion is well made, as long as the chorus and the woodwinds. But regarding woodwinds and brasses, it'd be appreciated if in the "text" section of the palette would be an option to add an "solo, a2, a3..." and it'd change the playback somehow. I asked for a refund, but in the future, if there's a convincing uptade, I'd consider buying it again.

Can something be done about the dynamics. The sounds are good, but have to manually adjusted. String pizzicatos blast out and Violas are almost silent.

kinda regret spending 70 bucks on this purchase. the staccatos for all instruments are unusually loud and overpower everything. The sound quality is also not as good as advertised on videos. Hopefully they fix this in a future update but I doubt it

Base Musesounds is higher quality and gives more options, this is not worth the money

The sound mix needs to be improved, its sound is very compressed, perhaps the classical version sounds more flexible for different works. More articulations in some instruments would be ideal.

OGRAU

The free Muse Sounds are better than this. I truly regret this purchase. Just stick with Berlin.

I quite like them. If you want to just use the notation and have it come out in a clean and consistent manner, I think that they are great. I think it is a really big step up from the MuseSounds. If you want all the bells and whistles, get the Kontact version. I dipped my toe in and just got the Solo set and after hearing them, came back and got the full Nucleus. My only complaint is that I would like to have another set of the sections with half sized ensemble.

Lacks most if not all the heft one would expect/demand from a large-scale “cinematic” orchestra, the articulations are largely indistinguishable from one another, and the instrumental palette lacks critical instruments (piccolo being the most glaring oversight. Needs a hefty amount of work to be worth it, especially with the $60+ price tag.
