I would love additional channels. There is a lot of talk about how they are available, but the process has yet to be streamlined, so I really don't know. Not technical-minded, so I'm unwilling to really give it much effort. For the PRICE - you can't beat it!
really usefull, once you had it you will depend on it, makes good audio separation, also it generatesmusic, we would just be missing the midi extraction tool, we can fix some vocales or background sound in the same audacity
Since I had to install MuseHub and create an account just to download this and find out that it won't install on my device, I figured I'd add a warning here to try to spare others from the same fate. If you're on an ARM device, don't bother trying to install this. Since they don't mention this anywhere here, I guess I have to do it now. Especially annoying since this is the only way to get functions that were built into previous versions of Audacity.
The transcriptions with Whisper are a game changing feature!! I would love to see this continue receiving support. Absolutely incredible! It'd be amazing to have these high quality audio captions live while audio plays too. I noticed the model sometimes skipping over small words or it places the marker a little bit before the audio actually plays but it works really well overall, it's mostly limited by Audacity's user interface design. How about adding AI text to speech and voice cloning? Would be incredible if we could generate voice lines or even singing in your own voice right in Audacity. OpenVINO performs incredibly well on Intel hardware. I get almost twice the inference speed than other runtimes do while maintaining the same quality. Perfect for getting the most out of your iGPU! It's unfortunately, as usual with AI, a rather large download, for a decent quality model you already need a couple gigabytes of disk space. Torch CPU uses 230MB on it's own. I'm not sure if all of that is necessary, OVMS doesn't have torch in it but works just as well? Maybe an optional toggle on setup can be included to leave out Torch and install OpenVINO only for people that have Intel hardware. Thanks a loot!!
I agree it took for ever to install. Like over 30 minutes but when It did finish it has worked super smoothly. I really appreciate this tool for the simplicity it gives to some of the steps of my audio production. There are still issues, the noise reduction isn't perfect, sometimes reduces parts that should be left alone, and the track separation isn't always right, sometimes leaves little blips in the wrong tracks, but for what it is as a free tool, I am very impressed and grateful for it!
The addition of these AI tools to an already powerful editor is awesome! I have no idea why people are griping about 'removal from base app', because these have never been part of the base app; not in the 10+ years I've been using it anyway. Stem separation and AI assisted noise removal? Awesome! Sure, the audio generation isn't brilliant, but then I wouldn't expect it to be w/o the power of a cloud behind it.

Installation worked successfully unlike other people are saying, it REALLLY suppressed my voice recording audio & It's soooo HARD to find a program that does it so wonderfully as you did. Interesting it doesn't send any data to them and runs on ur PC 100% Thanks for the amazing program ;;
It's nice to get this onto Mac. Unfortunately splitting stems takes ages with poor results compared to other tools like Demucs or Logic. I think it's not optimised for the Apple chips (seems to use CPU rather than GPU). Hopefully it improve in future versions.
As a sight challenged sound designer, I love the fact that Openvino has options to separate music, generate transcriptions and so on. One thing I'd like to see added to the Music Separation algorithm is the ability to separate instruments like piano, keyboards, strings, guitar, sound effects, speech, and the like.
Installed for me, took two tries. Looked like it was going to fail the second time, but I turned around for a moment and it finished. It must be shy.

People in the reviews need to understand how to install the files properly and manually. MuseHub often installs automatically to your windows drive (often it is your C: drive) and if audacity isn't in that drive it won't work. Set it up properly, install it with your choice of models (I chose all of them which is 26 gbs) and then make sure your installing it in Audacity folder location. The ai isn't spectacular and music ai like Suno is clearly more advanced but it is a decent, free, alternative and can help guide your music creation. Edit: Yes, it can take some time but have patience. Mine installed eventually.
