I love most of this "pack" but with some issues ; first the sound level of the different instrument is not correctly balanced, some are inaudle and some are too loud ! And second, the treble of the alto saxophone sounds really bad But it's reakky good anyways but pleeaaseee fix this :)
The saxes sound amazing but they could improve for jazz, the soprano is extremely weak and exclusively work for classical, and the other saxes only sound “jazzy” on forte. Also glissandos and scoops don’t really sound as they should. On the saxes it gets extremely loud and short and with the clarinet it just lowers the pitch and sound weird. Good product but needs improvement for jazz. Great for orchestral though
The higher woodwinds (oboe, flutes...) sound pretty good, and the clarinet family is good but it just needs a contrabass clarinet. the basoon is good but the contrabasoon is very quiet. the saxophones sound pretty good (especially the baritone it sounds soo good) but the alto sounds a bit too "unjazzy" and I need bass saxophone.
good quality, nice sounds from flutes, oboes, clarinets, and bassoons, but saxophones are consistently too loud. it would also be nice if you added more instruments like bass sax, ethnic flutes, and ESPECIALLY contrabass clarinet
Need Contrabass Clarinet
Like another review said, it would be great if we had more instruments like bass oboe, bass saxophone (and maybe contrabass saxophone and sopranino saxophone), contrabass clarinet, and others. As for my experience, I think these are great. I do think we could use an Oboe 2 part as well.
To anyone saying "There is no Cor Anglais". Cor Anglais is literally French for English Horn. Just helping clearing up confusion
-flutes are entirely too loud, i know it can be adjusted but they dont blend -Clarinets have a gross airy sound at mezzo piano, cannot work past it -bass clarinet has a horrible tone, and will not stacatto notes at quiet dynamics, has bad tone at quiet dynamics, at loud dynamics it has a worse tone and if there is accents or stacattos used then its just atrocious -all saxes are way too loud and have bad tone, i have to use the mixer and bring them down to -6 or -8 for them to sound atleast decent -says there is cor angles, there is not

I encountered some small problems in playback. - A6 trills on Piccolo have a big delay before playing. - Oboe, Clarinet and Bassoon seem quieter than other instruments from the Muse Group. Bassoon suffers the most from this. - Tuning issues in "non vibrato" setting. There are other issues, but these are the main ones. Most of them are manageable with some mixer tweaks, but an update on them would be great! Great product overall!
The only thing i do not like is that there is no bass oboe, contrabass clarinet, or bass saxophone. Why do they have contrabass flute but not and of these others? Also it's really quiet, even on fortissimo.
There are 16 instruments, not 17. I hate this for that absolute reason and I refuse to get this. (Ok I'll stop joking, everything seems fine.)
The instruments in this are good but with some cons. For example, piccolo is very loud in the high register, saxophones are too loud, no contrabass clarinet, and some of the articulations are a bit harsh. Other than that, it's good.
I love this Things but I need more Modulate and nice release same with the live instruments.
I like this, but there are some instruments that are missing that'd probably contribute: The Eb Clarinet sound only goes down to a written E4 for an Alto Clarinet, which sucks because I'd like to be able to write for the full range of an Alto Clarinet. The family of recorders are not on here, and it'd be a great improvement to add them.
Tenor sax and the other woodwinds I have tried sound great but the alto sax is just terrible. This is also the instrument I need the most.
Many of my projects are symphonic band pieces. The Vienna packs don't cover Saxophones, so I use this musesound instead. No matter what I change in the mixer, forte is louder than the whole band and piano is completely invisible. Maybe not just on this pack, but all packs and instruments should have the ability to change the volume at all dynamic levels. It makes no sense to have two parts that are playing the exact same melody at the same volume to have two different dynamics written down.

Overall this is amazing, and SO much better than MS Basic sounds! I write jazz music, and I think the saxophones could be a bit more balanced, but they are still great and definitely worth it. Thanks Muse Group!
It seems as if the most recent update, which claims to have "improved timing," has indubitably done the complete and utter opposite, most notably with the B-flat clarinet. I was unaware that this was an issue in the first place! But now, it seems like the instrument itself has lost the ability to play clean sixteenth-note runs without swinging like jazz gaggleslop. It should be requested that any changes to timing be reversed. Thank you
Unlike every paid library here this one is free and has the best sounds especially legato phrases which sound amazing, something that apparently 60$ libraries can't do
For the most part, the clarinet is better sounding that it has been before. Tone quality is better, but there are moments where it randomly gets quiet and doesn’t follow dynamic markings. I’ve had to mess around with everything I can with Muse Woodwinds, but nothing will fix this. Even putting louder dynamic markings won’t fix this and makes the phrasing sound off. It is very irritating.
Has plenty of instrument and variations. (add contrabass sax and clarinet pls!!!) They sound great. Dynamics are great, maybe a bit louder on the louds and that's about it. It's great.
