The dynamics are quite bad, instruments don't go as loud and also quite glitchy with headphones

The sound was so amazing that I was surprised at its beauty when I first heard it.Even though it took me about a day to download it and it often failed ,all my waiting paid off.

Add Contrabass solo, Sounds horrible, combine muse sound and musecore gm sounds

What happened ? The new dynamics are so weird, it feels awful

The new strings sounds are very different, and they are ABSOLUTELY terrible. The phrasing and legato is off, and they sounds more synthetic than human. The strings aren't as realistic, tremolo is stiff and too extreme. Much of the score annotation doesn't have the same effect, and everything sounds like a synth and not the astonishingly good sounds of the earlier version.

Surprisingly great legatos. Paired with the string EQ and Lush High End setting on the Mastering plugin, you can get some really gorgeous string playback for free. I actually stopped using my more expensive libraries for string legato in favour of this! The pizz, trem, and staccato patches are less impressive, but still helpful for mockups. Those legatos though are usable for realistic work.

I noticed that the cello notes sometimes don’t give playback for classic phrasing. Also, why hasn’t anyone added a solo contrabass yet?

Generally good. However, when we switch to PP mode, there is some audible noise. Also, Glisando is terrible. Don't even try it. If these two issues were fixed, there would be no problem.

This audio by the Muse Group is reaaaally good especially for free. And i dont wanna complain but if its not too much work u could do some fixes on the solo isntruments where most times if i dont put stacatto or smth on it its just really slurry, unclear and slidey.. if thatll be fixed then this audio is going the be top tier. 4,25/5

The ensemble section sounds are absolutely gorgeous, especially the cellos. The solo instruments have a weird portamento/gliss sound between notes, and are terrible at playing faster or more detached notes. This seriously needs fixing it sounds super weird. Why is there no solo bass sound?

An improvement from other sounds, but pretty unbalanced, not great articulations, and really needs solo bass sound.

The dynamics are extremely unbalanced (especially the violas) and the portamento feature all the strings have is gut-wrenchingly horrible. Please fix.

These strings have really good dynamic changes and work great for slow pieces or longer melodies. For fast pieces I learned that the staccato markings on 8th notes or 16th notes add a better support, and make it sound 10x better!!

In slow tempos, the legato playback doesn't work correctly. The transitions between notes sound disconnected or unnatural. Also there are issues with the balance. But the tone is great, so I hope it will be fixed

Again: free sounds, and much more decent ones than in the previous versions of Musescore! However, be aware that these strings will require tweeking in the mixer, and that nothing can be done to have them stop crissing and be expressive instead… That said, as long as it's free… NB: there are no "spiccato" options, as of now

For a free sound it's pretty good. Wouldn't pay for it.

I can hear some difference whatsoever, but the difference is so minimal that this is definitely not worth 5.5GB on your hard drive. Also add in solo contrabass
